This semester’s rush theme was Despicable Me!

 

Rush began the week classes started and Sponsorship Week was added as a new way to meet the chapter!

 

Rush events included: Info Night 1 & 2, Games and Dessert Night, Meet the Chapter.

Sponsorship Week includes: Sardines in Dwinelle, Scavenger Hunt, Sponsor/Sponsoree Reveal

NAMESAKE

Courtney McLaughlin pledged WK semester during Fall 2008. During activehood, she served as Service Trainer on JM PComm and went on to be Service VP a year later. She was also the 2011 President and recipient of multiple sturdy oaks. While she was president she also co-chaired for Regionals. During her last semester at Cal, she received the Bronze Presidential Service Award as well as chaired Active Day of Service. As an alumni, she still often comes back to do service with the chapter and even parented for the Sour Ratch Kids during KK Spring 2013. Her continuous dedication and commitment to our three cardinal principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service is apparent to all those who know her in the chapter and is a model example for us all to follow.
